Sun suckage, any other Java alternative?

Never mind. We all agreed to install yum or apt-get and let the system deal with it. Downloading the Sun package is not the solution.

Never mind about what? What problem? Why is it not the solution?

I'm afraid that deleting your posts after finding a solution is not exactly helpful to other users who come searching here because they ran into the same issue...
