how to extract .rpm file through command line in fedora 14 version for installing the SUMO...

SUMO version 0.12.3..

why the hell are there three threads in a row asking how to install sumo on fedora 14 from 3 different user names?

I would like to second and third that question?

The answer is probably as obvious as it appears...

Even though this is probably spam I'll just say use Fedora 19 or 20 because 14 is ancient now.

@suicidaleggroll: sorry..yar...we are in a team and working on this project(SUMO version 0.12.3)..for our academic purposes..please reply to install for the same...so that..it will be really helpful for us..

@k3lt01: we are doing a final year project...so that in our lab ..systems have been installed with fedora 14..so we should use the same..

Where are you from? What college exactly? If this is a final year project shouldn't you, and your peers, be doing the search for yourselves or at the very least following LQ rules So what exactly have you and your peers tried? Have you looked at the package manager?

i just want the procedure to install...no more information..

There is no "sumo lib".

These are {all 11 files}, see sumo-0.12.3/bin/<executable> :
{ activitygen jtrrouter od2trips sumo-gui \
dfrouter netconvert polyconvert TraCITestClient \
duarouter netgen sumo }

The install goes this way :
1) $ cd sumo-0.12.3/
2) $ su <enter-root-password>
3) # make install
... which will copy the 11 excutable to /usr/local/bin/

Hi lavsjk,
In looking at your posts I get the impression that you only write one line at a time. It is possible to write more than one line in a single post. Using 3 separate posts for one message of 3 lines is not a good idea. You do not have to start a new message for each new line you write.
