Have you checked the hcl's for it? I think you're out of luck.

1. You really need to provide more information in your posts. I hate having to do basic-level research on questions like this, such as "what the heck is a Summit photofix copier?", before I can get to the meat of the problem.

2. Did you try using google and the lq search function? Your question may have been answered already.

3. Looking at the sane and vuescan supported scanners page (links in my sig), I don't see it listed, which is not uncommon for a niche peripheral like this. Unless the manufacturer supplies a driver for it, I don't think there's any support for it.

Many thanks to all of you I think I'll keep XP on my other Laptop

Summit is a cheap nasty scanner £49.00 to call it a scanner is wrong it's really a 5gb camera in a box that takes photo's of negatives and slides. I bought it because it goes in the palm of your hand and powered by USB.

5gb camera???

If you mean 5 GIGApixels, then that's one heck of a camera!!!

If you mear 5 MEGApixels, then it's marginally useful for copying small things
