Suggestions for under 50MB linux distro's?
Just wondering if anybody knew of some super small linux's not found on distrowatch/ibiblio, etc?

I know about most of the floppy-type distro's, but want something between 10MB-50MB (excluding dsl/slitaz/tinycore,etc)

Console only versions are good too.

Look at "TinyCore". Not a full desktop distro, just an X environment. Weighs in at 10 MB.

Oops, sorry didn't read that you exclude TinyCore

Sorry, I too didn't see the exclusions...before I recommended DSL :(

And why the exclusions may I ask ? Those are the best ones, what more do you want ?

I want info on those I don't know about or can't find-Mostly I'm looking for "console-only" Linux distro's.
I want to learn all about the linux's most people don't like because there is no "X".

Ok then you can try:

Yes, I tried Basic Linux-it's nice, but is there a way to do it without using a floppy?
How can I make BasicLinux so it will boot from USB?

Maybe you can't, which would make it useless to me.
Floppy drives barely exist anymore.

And I've seen about every wiki etc, so I guess there aren't any distro's I don't already know of...

But then the question is if you have a USB stick why not put something larger on it ?

Anyway you can also try:

Or install slackware to a usb stick.
