If you need an 'immediate response', then you need to pay someone for support...this is a VOLUNTEER forum, and we volunteer our time here. Expecting us to hurry up and answer you 'immediately' is fairly rude.

Also, I'm not sure why you even posted this question...seeing as you have asked SEVERAL questions about NS2 in the past:
http://www.linuxquestions.org/questi...2-33-a-940304/
http://www.linuxquestions.org/questi...9-10-a-840509/
http://www.linuxquestions.org/questi...2-33-a-940304/

..going back at least two years. There are MANY protocols that NS2 can handle, and many examples you can find online, and by doing a search here. Since you know the software to use, and that it runs on different flavors of Linux, the answer should be obvious.

thank you TBone, i did not mean immediate response in that way you took it. once about 2 years back i got ample amount of help regarding NS2 and now again i need that. i want to ask is there any patch available for PMIPv6 simulations for Ns2, if yes which NS2 version is compatible for that or Is OPNET 14.5 suitable for PMIPv6 simulations.

I think you know about the LQ Search functions :
http://www.linuxquestions.org/questions/search.php

Please try with pmip in the "Tag" Search → →
pmip6 http://www.linuxquestions.org/questions/tags/pmip6/
? wimax-nist http://www.linuxquestions.org/questi...gs/wimax-nist/
? fhmip http://www.linuxquestions.org/questions/tags/fhmip/
? nist http://www.linuxquestions.org/questions/tags/nist-mob/
wimax http://www.linuxquestions.org/questions/tags/wimax/

Google .. ns2 network based Mobility ..
https://www.google.com/webhp?hl=all#...based+Mobility
→ mostly PMIPv6 hits.

"ns3" : Google .. ns3 PMIPv6 ..
will show a patch for ns-3.12 .

"OMNeT++" : Google .. OMNeT++ PMIPv6 .. : Not sure you will find anything usable.

The commercial "OPNET 14.5" : Please ask at Opnet.
