Stupid Noob Question

Ok... so my usb wirless is a piece of crap. I've had nothing but lost hopes with this adapter. lol

But the question is... any 802.11b card or adapter will work with almost any 802.11b router, right?

Yes - never had a problem.
11b is the standard - any "go-fasts" (like 11a) can be proprietry.

I love stupid noob questions!

Yes, any card will work. The trick is in getting one that plays well with Linux. If you get one with a Broadcom chipset you'll want to use ndiswrapper.
