Stupid Automatic Recovery After Dual Boot of XP Home and RH/Linux 9 on Pavilion 784

Just installed RH/Linux 9 on my Pavilion 784, after having shrinked the partition XP resided on. Objective was to create a dual boot with XP and Linux. The boot manager was GRUB, as configured with the Linux install. First time dual booting to Linux went really fine. Second time dual booting to Windows XP was a drama. It started some f*cking HP Recovery tool, from which I could escape after much NO's to confirmation dialog boxes. Rebooting learned me that it booted straight into XP! So, where has my dual boot gone? And if i can manage to install it again, how can i manage that the HP recovery tool does not start?

Thanks.

Solved. It was the HP recovery partition that was booted by grub. After I changed it to where XP resides, it all worked smoothly.
