Stuck wandering menus

Installed RH8 yesterday using Partition Magic 8.0 and RH8 cd's I burned (5!). After doing upgrades, etc., I was offered a chance to install extra stuff. I wanted to install RH docs, but it turns out I didn't have that on cd yet. I downloaded the iso and I think I burned it  , but I can't find my way back to the screen where I can install it. I've also been looking for something remotely resembling windows explorer so I can verify the cd I burned. I tried mounting it (!), and didn't get the reply I was hoping for. I'm going to look for one of those "Idiot's Guide" books! Any recommendations?

The "Red Hat Linux 8 Bible" is a good book for beginners and advanced users. It has almost everything.

You should be able to go to SystemSettings->Packages to install more packages from a cd although if you can't mount your cd then thats a different story. What command did you use to mount your cd?

"Running Linux" from O'Reilly is also amazing (and more general).

I learned a ton from that book.

From there tho, after you go through 1 or 2 books, you don't really need anymore...get online and remember that google is your friend....

There's a LOT of info out there.

Thanks! I picked up "Red Hat Linux 8 Bible" today. Looks like it should keep me busy for a while:)
