Stuck on Box running Linux

I have never seen this. Any ideas? When I boot the box I get a message that says

"The superblock cannot be read or does not describe a correct ext2 filesystem. If the device is valid and it really contains an ext2 filesystem (and not swap or ufs or something else), then the superblock is corrupt and you might try running e2fsck with an alternative superblock:
e2fsck -b 8193 <device>

This is on a Merge Box and I have tried a few things and nothing seems to work. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

It seems to me that whatever you are trying to connect (or perhaps boot?) is broken -- the filesystem, at least. If it's the disk, I suggest you try to reinstall debian.

Before you completly reinstall, boot some sort of livecd and check your /etc/fstab file. Make sure its correctly setup.
