I knew I had no business installing Arch.
So after multiple attempts to install Arch I made it through the setup.
I thought mnt/boot/grub/menu.lst looked right???
Here is the only part that looked important..
#(0) Arch Linux
title Arch Linux [/boot/vmlinuz26]
root (hd0,2)
kernel (hdd0,0)/vmlinuz26 root=/dev/discs/disc0/part3 ro
I finished install. Rebooted. Everything looked ok the I got "Grub_" (The _ is blinking)
What am I missing? Other than a newb shouldn't be trying to install Arch.
I figured the only way to learnis to try it. "
Googled with no luck...any help appreciated.
I will also try lilo even though I expect the same results.
