My post was mostly for mrmazda.
It just changes the general look and feel of the OS. It's a matter of personal taste of course.
Now, for your issue:
Is that something that only happens with Firefox?
Does it happen with Brave, Chromium, Kate, LibreOffice?
I experimented a bit. It looks like Firefox doesn't use System Settings values.
It does its own thing.
Firefox stores profiles in the folder .mozilla
so, you want want to close Firefox, rename that to .mozilla.old and reopen Firefox.
All your settings for Firefox will be lost.

Ok, noted..
May I know what settings are in .mozilla ?are "my bookmarks" inside there ?
Where is my bookmarks ? **gonna make a backup of it**
BTW, there are 3 folders inside .mozilla.. can you narrow it down so that i just rename a problem specific folder ? **trying to keep as much settings as possible**
...wiping .cache.. won't stop the problem from occuring in the future.
KDE disk caches are huge compared to everything else. Until someone at KDE redesigns its cache dependence, or otherwise stops random corruption from happening in the first place, wiping it will remain the simplest and easiest way to eliminate some of Plasma's inexplicable, non-reproducible faults. Clearing cache is trivial, nothing like reinstalling.

Yes, bookmarks are there, like verndog said.
Just open Firefox and from the menu, Bookmarks -> Show All Bookmarks
A window opens up.
At the top, click on Import and Backups and you will be able to create a backup file.
I don't know about the 3 rd question. I don't know the internals of Firefox.
I've only had a problem with Firefox once while on Windows. When I opened Firefox, the window size was 50 x 50 pixels and it would lock up or something. Uninstall/reinstall did not solve it. I just deleted the local Firefox folder and that solved it. Then, I reimported my favorites from a backup that I had.
