streaming RTSP

I was wondering if some kind person could help me...
I've just installed RealPlayer on my machine. It streams fine from BBC radio. However, I wanted to watch a rerun of the vice-presidential debate on C-SPAN. when I click on the link in mozilla I get the message "rtsp is not a registered protocol". I seem to be able to stream the live feeds OK though.
Thanks in advance,
