Hi there,

you'll have to be a bit more specific about what you mean by "check the storage devices". What exactly do you want to know, and about exactly what type of storage devices? I.e. USB drives, all hard disks, partition information, etc. Or do you want to do a file-system check for errors? Or do you want make & model of the devices that are connected?

If they're already attached and you want to check their mounts, disk usage, etc, a simple mount or df or du is sufficient enough in most cases. But yeah, be more specific.

Nope...I have mentioned a couple of examples. But to be precised, I meant was storage devices, used in NAS & SAN. Hence, I mentioned Netapp & Hitachi which are used as storage devices in NAS & SAN.

I can give this much of info only. But, do you still need more info on this?

So you want to know what is available for use on the system itself? No, you haven't specified what info you want from your SAN/NAS devices. Be more specific in the information you want or seek from the devices.
