I occasionally/rarely use chromium with adblock on a single site - but the print function appears to have been disabled.

So it appears that Google have finally succeeded in destroying Chromium?

Yep.
The list of third party javascript requests for "realclearscience" (lol, that name does not instil confidence) is so tall that I was frightened to open it even in TOR browser...
"cracked.com" doesn't sound much better, but I didn't try it - that was enough for one day.

Just tried "realclearscience" [sic] and my adblocker stopped 96 different accesses.

I think this is a record.

I mostly use FF+noscript+ublock-origin.
Also ghostery + privacy badger.

A certain amt of overlap, but they work very well.

Another note: some of these script blockers and\or extensions may have pre-approved, "whitelists"(-racist, ) we'd need to wipeout.(-Puns?)

E.g:
  • Total Script Blocker:
Quote:
...
Whitelisted sites are allowed to load scripts/iframes/plugins from source locations when they are referenced on a web page.

You can change what is in the lists here or through the extension's page action button. Some top web sites are preloaded. For example, to whitelist http://www.google.com, you enter

google.com
which also whitelists google.com, maps.google.com, books.google.com, etc...
had automatically:
Quote:
google.com.au
google.ca
apple.com
google.com
gstatic.com
hotmail.com
live.com
microsoft.com
paypal.com
paypalobjects.com
yahoo.com
yahooapis.com
yimg.com
youtube.com
ytimg.com
google.de
google.co.uk
!
