Stick Bit Assigning Issue??

How can I assign the following permission to a file "test"

drwxr-sr-x 5 vjs vjs 4096 2008-03-26 14:11 db

Whenever I am trying :

$sudo chmod g+s test
Output it is throwing:

Post Wrong chmod?

You are accidently ading the 'setgid' bit, which allows a file to run as the group id of the group that owns it. This is not what you want to do, try
sudo chmod g+t dirname
