Red face Step by Step Proxy + Internet Getway configuration needed

Hi,
I have install RHEL 5 with 2 lan card configured eth0 for public ip
eth1 for LAN ip.

I want to configure this machine as a proxy server + Internet Gateway.

User will connnect to the Internet submitting Username and Password by using this server.

I need the step by step procedure Please help me to configure this server.

For the gateway you need to use masquerading
