Please tell me how to configure squid.config file for proper working of squid.

Some questions.
What do you mean by proper working squid?
what is the purpose of implementation of squid? like Content filtering, restricted internet access, or else.

Secondly, Try doing a google search, there are a number of decent how to's online. Even try searching for CentOS, for all intents and purposes, it will be the same.
Thirdly, after attempting to do the job yourself, feel free to ask any specific questions about what happens to be tripping you up.
