stealth browsing(like some win-firewalls have)
 
some windows firewall programs have a feature called stealth browsing .how can i duplicate that functionality on linux?(even from a console window or something,as long as it works )

Welcome to LQ.

You need to setup your firewall to do so. Shorewall is a damn good way to setup your iptables firewall, and webmin has a good frontend to shorewall.

what is Shorewall ?what do i need to do?and what is stealth browsing?i mean what does it do ?(what settings do i need to change)
i think it "hides" something?!?!?
