Stationery in Thunderbird

I want to make a template for Thunderbird. I want the image to be on top and I will put fonts under it. My attempts at inserting an image have resulted in one very large image taking up the entire page.

Thanks

Did you try scaling the image down with a program like GIMP?

You can also try the "convert" command in a terminal. I assume you are wanting to make the image the size of an avatar or similar.

Code:
$ convert -geometry 90x90 /path/to/image /path/to/new_image
The 90x90 is only a starting point. try different sizes to get it where you want it.
