xunzi LQ Newbie Registered: Jun 2004 Posts: 3 Rep:	startx does not load when logged in as a normal user? Hey, I've just successfully installed Slackware(after a couple of failed attempts at Fedora) and am feeling quite happy with myself as I managed to get the nvidia drivers working! Anyway, my question: Startx will not load when logged in as a normal user. There is no activity at all when I try to load it. Everything loads fine when logged into root though. How can I resolve this? Thanks
