hello, installed slackware11 fine, got the last problem sorted. how ever after i type startX it goes fine, then says

XIO: fatel IO error 104(connection reset by peer) on Xserver 0.0 after 0 requests (0 unknown processed) 0 remaining.

What can i do to fix this problem? is there some configuration or something i can type into root to sort this out?

Hi, did you do xorgconfig as root. I guess you know what your video card and monitor settings are?

It's not really visible but he has fixed his problem (mouse)
