Starting udev: Wait timeout. Will continue in the background.[FAILED]

good evening gents,,

I have a new dell r910 machine and I just installed RHEL 5.3 OS on SAN disk successfully

but am getting the subjected error msg each time am rebooting and that increases almost 10min to the boot time

actually several mints in Starting udev
then several mints after setting host name [OK]
then another several mints for starting HAL service

note: i already changed the sound line in /etc/security/console.perms.d/50-default.perms to be
"<console> 0600 <sound> 0660 root"
