starting system logger failed
 
Saludos.Tengo un equipo que después de hacer el test aparece starting system logger failed y se queda colgado.El OS es mandrake linux 9.1.Alguno tiene idea de como solucionar este problema?.Agradecido de antemano.

- First of all Mandrake Linux 9.1 was released in or around 2003 (the Iraq war, SARS outbreak or more positively: Outkast's "Hey Ya"). It is no longer maintained and supported which means that if the system is accessible from the Internet then it is a risk. Please consider moving to a maintained and supported release of Mandriva, Mageia or another Linux distribution.
- Syslog does not fail without reason. Messages shown on stdout or stderr should give you clues about missing components or dependencies, configuration errors, lack of disk space and any other issues. Also it would be good to know if the system ran OK before and what happened between then and this error.

Ok.El system worked well until an operator did something wrong.Try another solution. thanks
