Question Starting Skype from Background

I'm currently running Skype. My distro is Arch Linux.
I'm also running Evilwm. Everything is running great. Just one question

After using Skype I close it but it is still running in memory. How can I call the program back from the background on the command line? When I ran openbox I just clicked on the little icon sitting in the taskbar. Now that I'm running Evilwm there is no taskbar and no icon (I love Evilwm!) but I'd like to see Skype so I can see who is online etc...

Surely this is an easy question, huh?

Thanks to anyone that's got any advice.
