starting postgresql failed
 
I tried to start
/etc/rc.d/init.d/postgresql start
But has received
Checking postgresql installation. Starting postgresql service: /etc/rc.d/init.d/postgresql: line 42 [: 4122 binary operator expexcted
failed.

What distro are you using, how was postgres installed?
