starting my program from the boot

Hi all,
i want to execute my program from the boot time,like specicfing the path in autoexec.bat in windows.Waht is the equivalent of that in linux
with regards

Just put the script into:


For example :

If you want to start subversion daemon called svnserve -d everytime the reboot happens

just go to last line of the file and add a line:

svnserve -d

Thats gonna work.
