Starting KDE 3.1.4


I have come accoustomed to the shell and now would like to use KDE and so I have installed
KDE properly and I keep launching to the shell and not KDE so I am asking what do I need to do
so that my box will launch to KDE? SLackware 9.1

Basically, creating a bash-script
~/.xsession
that contains
exec startkde
as the last line should do the trick ...

Once you're logged in, type startx
and that should be it.

You could use
/etc/X11/xinit/xinitrc.kde
as a template :)
