Angry start programs while bootup

i want to start my program which is in C lang. while the linux system boots. I don't know where to place the file for that. Like ntsysv command utility helps to start mysql database server,apache server starts while the system startups....... ??????????????????? help me.....

It depends on the distro to some extent, in slackware you'd add the command to "/etc/rc.d/rc.local" There will be a similar file in your distro.
