ok, my bro has starcraft.zip DLed....how will i get this to run?

do you have wine installed and if its a .zip just right click and extract to where ever you want it

i have Linux Mint KDE...im still a newb when it comes to Linux directory structure...hows this gonna work?
btw whats a good unzipper to download?

with wine installed you right click and select open with wine if you have to make it a executable thats in the propetys of the .exe under the permissions tab i think its at the bottem of the window or close to that...

baiscly you have wine which is a windows emulator and it tricks the game into thinking is windows trying to play it what star craft is it 1 or 2?
edit: they both should work i checked them on the site a good unziper i just use the one that is installed by default though i have never used kde that much so i dont know how much of a help i can be there....

very well ill find my way with the unzipping then...after unzipping, im presuming itll be unzipped into a Wine subfolder...after that how does Wine work...can u provide jpeg snapshots?
