That link refers to LMDE as at August 2014.
It seems likely that an upgrade to LMDE 3 will be issued in the near future.

I can't say enough about all the information/support this community gives me! Thanks and I'll keep plugging along. Just that my DSL is only downloading at .65 MiB's. Century-link and they are my only choice unless I do satellite but they throttle me back if I reach over my quota. Still trying to get my ISO.

Done it at least a dozen times and will continue to do so. 17.1 is a great LTS entry to *nix IMO, and the distro is stable.
I also recommend Devuan, PCLinuxOS, Slackware and any distro free of systemd...
