SSH Pre-Login Message
Hello,
A friend of mine is running debian sarge with a 2.4x kernel and is running the webmin scripts to administrate his system, not my preference, but hey.. to each his own.
He was able to set a PRE login message upon connecting to his OpenSSH server (not the /etc/motd file).
Ex.
myAcct@localHost:~$ ssh -l myAcct example.friend.machine
And immediately... before i'm asked to enter a password, I see his message...
Welcome to my server. blah blah blah.
After I enter my password to log into his machine, I then see the /etc/motd.
I was curious how this could be done without using webmin? I've dug through the /etc/ssh/sshd_config file and searched the net to no avail. Anyone know how this could be done?
I'm running Debian Etch/Testing with a 2.6 Kernel - same OpenSSH server.
Thanks for the help!
-Paul
