SSH not working Suse 10.3

Hi All,

I've installed a fresh Suse 10.3. I've got 3 machines set up in my lab. When I tried to take remote of Suse from Fedora through SSH it didn't work. I've deleted all the rules in the Iptables & I stopped the firewall.

I could able to access Fedora via SSH from Suse. But not able to access Suse via ssh.

Need your help

Is either system running selinux? Who are you attempting to log into the SuSE machine as? (regular user, root, etc). Fedora's default install leaves remote root ssh access open, most distros don't. I'm not familiar with SuSE now, but I'm thinking maybe they disallow remote root ssh access on a default install. What error message are you getting?

It's working fine now.

I was getting "ssh: connect to host 192.168.1.4 port 21: Connection refused" error.

I 've checked in Fedora and found the port has been changed 21( It seems my frnd has done it ). I've changed it now. Sorry I didn't check in the first time.

Thank you for the response
