I wanna use a ssh tunnel for web surfing. So do i need to pay for one of these sites or can i just use my own computer and use ssh. Can i use ssh for ssh tunnel on firefox if i setup a ssh server on my computer or will i still need to ssh to another computer?

SSH is used for communication between two computers, both of which have to be ready to receive/send SSH traffic. Are you trying to encrypt all of your port 80 traffic?

yep exactly i wanna encrypt all of my http traffic. And a proxy isnt the same. SSh is the way to go. Any ideas?
