Depending on what other BIOS setting you are using you may also see 'Marvell 91XX 5Gb/s' message on boot.

The manufacturers fluf might scream "SATA 6Gb/s!" but they will never, ever get that level of performance. Its just a crappy controller which cant deliever what the advertising says.
