[SOLVED] squid server is not working

plz help me squid server is not working if i use following commands service squid restart , squid -z then showing error like
errors
1)squid dead but sybsystem is locked
2)no copy to run
3) /var/spool/squid/swap.state (13) permission denied.

Run

pgrep -lf squid

and if it returns nothing then remove the PID file.

Check if you started Squid as root. If you did check what permissions it has and what it should have.

For any errors manually running as root

squid -NCd1 2>&1 | tee /tmp/squid.txt

(CTRL+C to exit) and then read "/tmp/squid.txt" for clues and check them with the Squid FAQ at Visolve. If after that you don't get it to work tell us what steps you took, what the output or result was, run 'squid -NCd1' again and attach the plain text file "/tmp/squid.txt".
