Introduction to Linux - A Hands on Guide
This guide was created as an overview of the Linux Operating System, geared toward new users as an exploration tour and getting started guide, with exercises at the end of each chapter.
For more advanced trainees it can be a desktop reference, and a collection of the base knowledge needed to proceed with system and network administration. This book contains many real life examples derived from the author's experience as a Linux system and network administrator, trainer and consultant. They hope these examples will help you to get a better understanding of the Linux system and that you feel encouraged to try out things on your own.

I've installed Fedora 9 on my machine and I want a complete reporting system for Squid access. I've also installed RPMforge on linux box. Then after I've tried to install sarg using command yum install sarg but it gives the following error, -
=====================================================
[root@mmcpl ashwin]# yum install sarg
Loaded plugins: refresh-packagekit
Setting up Install Process
Parsing package install arguments
Resolving Dependencies
--> Running transaction check
---> Package sarg.i386 0:2.2.3.1-1.rh9.rf set to be updated
--> Processing Dependency: libgd.so.1.8 for package: sarg
--> Finished Dependency Resolution
sarg-2.2.3.1-1.rh9.rf.i386 from rpmforge has depsolving problems
--> Missing Dependency: libgd.so.1.8 is needed by package sarg-2.2.3.1-1.rh9.rf.i386 (rpmforge)
Error: Missing Dependency: libgd.so.1.8 is needed by package sarg-2.2.3.1-1.rh9.rf.i386 (rpmforge)

I've also installed the gd on server but still I'm not able to integrate the sarg or install it with Webmin CP.

Have you installed the libgd-devel package, or checked to see what provides the file mentioned in the error messages?
Once you install that and satisfy the dependency, you're ready to go.
