i am new to the linux OS and am using RHEL 4.
i want my squid server to redirect to a local server also running RHEL 4 when a locally hosted site is requested, but have not been able to do so till now and the request is always taken from the internet rather than the local server.
is this possible and if so then how can this be done.
Could you give some more details? From your description I figure that you have set up Squid as a reverse proxy to offer connection to various websites you are hosting, correct? And you also want these sites accessible from your LAN through the Squid server?
