Question Squid corruption

I am constantly having to clear squids (2.4 stable 7) cache. The proxy serves an intranet and outside lives a constantly accessed website
(frm the intranet) . The problem arises when the data on the website running on an (Apache) webserver is changed.
If internal users are on netscape there is no problem at all.
BUT if users are on IE then they will recieve a message on their browser saying :
IE does not know how to handle the file type and what do they want to do .. .. IE sees the file as a binary (it is just a html file). I can fix the problem by clearing squids cache and all is well again...
I am stuck here .. any ideas would be much appreciated.
K

I think there is a way to tell squid not to cache a specific web site by URL. I would check the documentation on the squid-cache site for info on how to whitelist a site from the cache. That would likely solve your problem..
