squid


Can somebody help me. Im using squid proxy server. I want to check a certain ip address and the time he access. How can i get that log? What file would i check?

Check out /var/log/squid/access.log Grep is your friend when dealing with logfiles.

cat /var/log/squid/access.log | grep ip_of_the_user
should do it. (will display only lines who contain the specified ip)
