split screen with S3 Twister graphics card
 

A newbie to linux, I just installed Fedora Core 4 on an HP zt1180 with an S3 Twister graphics card. The OS loaded but the graphics card/display settings are not correct. I have a split screen skewed to the left. I can get to display settings and it defaulted to S3 ProSavage PN133 as a graphics card, when I tried the generic card then rebooted I got to a setup screen but now I can't work my way past this screen since a third of the screen is missing and its a graphical setup sequence and no way to get to a shell.

I plan on reinstalling so I can get to a basic login and then a shell but then what files should I modify to fix the split screen???????

Try changing your color depth or videocard settings.
