Question Spell check in Scrivener

I am very new to Linux and Mint in particular. I have installed the beta version of Scrivener. It works well less the spell check function.

I am at a loss how to fix. I see libraries in the options box and have attempted to install 32 bit versions. I checked the /usr/lib folder and see entries that are the same as what one blog says should be there.

Is there a permission problem or linkage that I should make?

At a loss!

Dwane
