speedtouch usb adsl modem will not connect
 
using 'USB ADSL Modem Manager' to enable speedtouch to connect to the internet I get the message 'Dependancy is not satisfiable: python-gnome2-extras' Being a newie to linux I don't now where to go from here. Looked at numerous threads but what ever I do comes to no avail. Can somebody explain in plain english what to do. cheers

Looks like you just need to install "python-gnome2-extras" package.
Which Linux distribution you are using?

The last link that 'trooper' provided should work for you. You are using Ubuntu Version 9.10. Ubuntu is the distribution, not 9.10.
