Speedstream 4060 and RH 9

Has anyone had any luck getting a Speedstream 4060 USB ADSL modem working on RH 9?

Not sure where to start on this one!

Dude plz tell me or anyone else here that they've seen something about the speedstream 4060 working in linux , i've been trying for a while now, couldn't find any drivers and was about to give up when i found this post in the redhat forums, i know it's old but hey.

It's like the light at the end of the tunnel, but i still haven't found anything, i'm guessing the light's gonna end up being a triain.

Thanks for the link! I'll have to start trying things again to get this working.

This 4060 is a pain in the hoop! All the advice seems to be forget about it and get a new modem. Wish I had the cash!

Roll-on RH 10 I'm sure that will sort the problem and it'll be free. Thats the great thing about Linux, you can keep up with the latest versions and not be out of pocket.

Well good luck with RH, god knows though cause i'm runnin' Mandrake 9.1, anywayz i'm gonna keep tryin over here to if i find anything i'll post it up here.

i need speedstream 4060 linux drivers also
tired of microsoft.. so micro n soft.. full of bugs n stuff...
but cant change.. cux cant find modem drivers... T.T
