Specify opening page on Konqueror
 

When I open up my Konqueror Web browser it defaults to this location...file:/usr/share/doc/HTML/index.html. I want it to go to www.google.com instead.

on a windows machine at the moment but it will simply be in the preferences. there will be something like home folder location

actually the home url in the preferences doesn't make it open to that page. Just so that when you click on the home icon it will go to that url....stange.

Try this:
open up google.com, then go settings - save view profile-webbrowsing.
