speakers crackeling when playing mp3's
 

my speakers are crackeling when playing mp3's ... using alsa under mandrake 9.2 just wondering if anyone has had this problem and solved it

try fiddling w/ your mixers. i had to decrease the volume on my microphone to almost nill to get the cracking and popping to stop.
