sourcing a file

Hello all. I use Ubuntu Edgy Eft and right now I am using a program that requires me to source a file to use it. However, everytime I want to use it, I have to source it manually everytime I open a new terminal window. To avoid this, it says that I need to include the command in my system .login or .cshrc file. Where would I find these files at? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

In your home directory. If it's not there, create it and add what you need sourced to the file.
