Source of Installation (mp3 support) - YAST

Hello to the Board.

I have just installed Suse 10.0, having been using Suse 9.3. I have no mp3 support for anything and realise that there are a number of additional packages I need to install (such as Mad etc).

Therefore, would be most grateful if someone could advise me on a (a) server name and (b) directory of server so I can put this in YAST ti get said packages. Oh, whlist I remember, for Suse 10 do I also need to grab the multimedia packs 1,2 and 3?

After a steep learning curve, I managed to get my Suse 9.3 box running sweet - for a ex Windows user - after a rather difficult start. Starting from scratch again, I now remember how frustrating linux can be! Ggrr! Anyway, I digress.

Thanks in advace.

Here's the thread with all the repositories you could need.

The one definitely to include is Packman. Don't forget to put the slashes in exactly the right place, as mentioned in the thread.

Know what you mean about steep learning curves and frustration. My method is simply to put aside lots of time and keep sights set low. That way you can only exceed your own expectations.
