I got kernel 2.4.20-8 and i got the same 'make' problem. So even if you got your kernel upgrade, i dont think you are there pal. I think the solution is to get a compiled driver in a machine with same kernel version you are running on.

Yesterday i checked a thread of yours and i figure out if you can sent me please the pctel.o and ptserial.o files compiled on kernel 2.420-8..........
