i play a video with kaffeine and when i close kaffeine the souds keeps going but the video stops


whats happening?

I should leave this reply to people that use KDE or kaffeine but here I am waiting for a download that is almost done... so I have the time.
It sounds like your media player has taken charge of the session.

Who is delivering the sound?

This is a great feature when you are listening to an audio stream but you want to log out (and keep the music playing)...

Does kaffeine provide your audio and visual?
Then I certainly don't know.

I think your sound is being delivered by somebody else...

Kaffeine is probably still running in your system tray. Find it there and open it up again.
Now, Settings->Configure Kaffeine. Under "Appearance" uncheck "Embed in system Tray".
