sound volume problem


Hii, I am using ARCH linux and has an ALSA.
I had a volume just fine, but now after I have run alsa restor levels, I have a much lower levels of sound, even thought my aumix is set to max, What can I do?

Well, you're not alone with alsa issues, as any search will demonstrate.

In my case, the speaker out was 'mapped' (for lack of better terminology) to the headphone module. Adjust the headphone volume in alsamixer and see if that has any effect.
